Alter Years--a prime source for patterns, boning, trims, reference books and much much more. Owned by Janet Anderson, a very good friend and master costumer. Based out of the Pasadena, CA. area.
Truly Victorian--designers of historic patterns. Time range is from the Civil War to about 1900. More than happy to help their customers with questions about their patterns. Based out of Riverside, CA.
The Cloak Drummer--excellent source of old west accoutrements. Carries Buckaroo Bobbins patterns and a few other brands. Very helpful and friendly.
Redlands Sewing Center--my all time favorite sewing machine shop. The only place I would trust to repair any of my machines. They also offer wonderful classes and clubs. Be sure to check out photos of the Fish Bag class. They carry a wide array of sewing machines, accessories, threads, machine embroidery designs, and some patterns.
The Hornsmythe--excellent source for animal fur, bone and antlers. One of a kind accessories. Very friendly and helpful..
