Hats designed by Magic Treadle/Bonnie Blue Mercantile are one of a kind, no two are alike. Each hat is completely hand crafted. Hot glue is not used on our hats, they are made to withstand heat. As my husband and I are both re-enactors, we expect our clothing and accessories to hold up.
Occasionally, we may offer hats designed by other artists. The construction of these hats are unknown.

These hatpins are constructed in the manner of my antique hatpin. They are all made of glass beads. They are made extra strong and extra long. These hatpins are made of bronze and will not corrode.
Hatpins are included complimentary with the purchase of any hat.
Hatpins measure approximately 11 inches long |

I am constantly taking classes at my favorite sewing center. I have been doing business with Redlands Sewing Center since 1988. I have purchased four sewing machines from them and taken numerous classes. They are the only place I trust to repair my machines.
I own a total of 15 sewing machines at this time. Three of them are antique, two treadles and one hand-crank. The majority of the machines are used to teach youngsters to sew. It was my goal to get enough machines so each one of the young ladies in our American Legion Auxiliary Junior Unit could have a machine at class to sew on.

My pride and joy is my Bernina 200E.
I recently purchased a Janome long arm quilting set up. I can hardly wait to use it.
